Smoking Policy

Vahana Management is committed to providing our customers with the highest level of service possible and aspires to become an organisation against which others strive to benchmark.

Our Smoking Policy and the principles defined in the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management System are mandatory at all levels of Vahana and are adopted throughout our operations and activities.

The purpose of the Smoking Policy is to promote health and safety awareness to employees and to provide definition of designated non-smoking areas and areas where smoking is permitted.

Vahana is committed to conducting its business in a manner that protects the health and safety of its employees and contractors both in our corporate offices and in on board Vahana vessels through the following principles:

No Smoking Areas

  • Any area that is not specifically designated and identified as a smoking area is classed as a no smoking area.
  • Personnel working offshore should also note that Vahana vessels on contract to clients, or located in client controlled areas are subject to the smoking rules and restrictions defined by the client. Personnel working offshore shall familiarise themselves with, and observe the rules and restrictions defined by the client at all times Smoking Areas – Smoking is only permitted in specifically designated and identified areas in.
